Its the New Year and Tim and Jason at the Green Rocks Lodge are once again getting excited to seeing their old friends and new guests. They will be on the road at various Sportsman Shows throughout the country so make sure you stop by and say hello.
The hunting and fishing at Green Rocks Lodge has never been better. If you have never hunted Bear, Sitka Deer, or Wolf from our lodge then you are missing out. The wildlife is abundant on the islands around the lodge and the hunting is excellent. The hunting is all self guided but we have all the equipment you need to make it a successful hunt: boats, electronic game calls and skinning and butchering facilities are all available.
Of course there is always something to fish for in the waters around Petersburg. Salmon, bottom fish, halibut, crab and shrimp can all be harvested at different times of the year. Check with Tim and Jason at the Sportsman show to plan your trip around the type of hunting or fishing you would like to do.
Although the fishing and hunting are all self guided we provide everything else to make your adventure the trip of a life time. Three hearty meals a day, comfortable accommodations, electricity, hot and cold running water, game freezers, etc. One of the real advantages of Green Rocks Lodge is how close it is to Petersburg Alaska and their commercial airport. Alaska Airlines flies into Petersburg daily and we are only a short boat ride from town. We like to call it accessibly remote. Once at the lodge you will be surrounded by the Alaskan wilderness not knowing that the commercial fishing community of Petersburg is even there.
